A student asks Sadhguru: “Steve Jobs was said to have a bad temperament, often subjecting his employees to profanity, even fired them in public. He's also considered one of the greatest innovators of our time. Is such behavior justified as long as one delivers results?” Watch the video to find out Sadhguru’s perspective on bad temper, management style and Steve Jobs’ leadership. #YouthAndTruth

When Steve Jobs died he didn’t take anything with him. He left a legacy here and that’s a beauty of it and so will the people who persevered to make a change. Steve Jobs was a minimalist he couldn’t care less about belongings. He had a goal, he took action.

I agree with Sadhguru about almost everything but not Steve Jobs. Both of them are my heroes. Steve doesn’t need to be perfect to be a hero and also I don’t expect him to be a saint. Sadhguru instructs us to have an inner life or the outer world should take as secondary. This should apply to Steve. No matter how outwardly he manifested himself, I trust inwardly he was a Beautiful human being. That’s what we should remember a genius who contributed so much to humanity. I don’t think we should nitpick on Steve.

Some of you are supporting sadguru and some are supporting Steve or against of them . But you all have to understand that sadguru didn't said anything about what Steve had done for the world! He just said that you have to be a good person before anything else . Because after your death you are not going to take anything with you . So behave nicely with others . Now some people will say that there is nothing like good or bad things . OK then please answer me murdering an innocent child is good?? Raping a woman is good?? Killing people just because you are saying that it is written in your holy book is good?? If you are going to say yes, then sorry I can't explain you!!

That last line that Sadhguru said is exactly how all business run in this country and that is why recession happens. The economy is in trouble simply because the very way of doing business has only ever been about dishonesty, cutting corners, predatory behavior and no integrity. And to add to this, all this has been done with absolutely colossal levels of toxic qualities from the very top. This karma will have to be redeemed some day.

A remarkable thing about divine grace is unconditional love. Even when we humans cannot love, God loves. Steve Jobs had one book on his iPhone: Autobiography of a Yogi. After Steve’s death, every Apple employee (at least on main campus) received a copy of Autobiography of a Yogi. Steve made peace with his daughter Lisa before he died. Our evolution occurs over time. Perhaps Steve is already here again; will he create? Will he grow? Improve relations? Let us have a vision he will. May we all overcome our faults with divine grace.

So on point! Why do some people give adulation to tyranny? To me, I think it comes from a fundamental way of being raised; for some people. Not all. For myself, I have ran into many different employers. Some were very nice and were a joy to work for but, most where mean. Guess what, I didn't stay in that situation. You have to have respect for people and in return be respected. Like the proverb: Do unto others as you would do unto yourself. Do it with humanity in mind. That is it- humanity is lost and that must return in order for society to sustain. Thank you Sadguru! 🙏

I'm not supporting Steve Jobs's behaviour, but I want to know, what if the other person (Employee) is not working or delivering the results as given to them by the Employers? There are four types of leaders 1. Autocratic, in which the Leader(L) decides everything and issues instructions which are to be obeyed without Ques (eg Steve Jobs) 2.Persuasive, in which the L decides everything, but motivates the team to adapt them 3. Participative, in which the L takes into consideration the views of team, but still has the final say 4. Democratic, in which the leader and team decides together I think in today's world, we can't expect everyone to be as sincere or goal focused as the employer wants then to be, bcs their reward is different. The employer wants profit, employee wants fixed salary no matter what and tends to do minimal effort. I think one has to follow the above approach as per the employees behaviour and should be able to change his leadership style. However in his life, one should be Participative.

It is ridiculous to see the likes and dislikes. If any of these people attended inner engineering should have equanimous behaviour. Despite so many years of inner engineering coming into existence..it’s a shame to see that people don’t learn from teachings of Sadguru. He is trying to teach how to break karma.. but we people keep building it. It’s insane to see such mindset. So it’s true the teachings don’t remain in people’s head.. it’s just blind following...the question is are people really putting to use his teachings? Or they are just forgetting it as days go by.

We know he has bad temper but he is one of the greate visionaries, these greate products can't be build that so early as Sadhguru explained. Sadhguru, he is not just the inventor of brand new mobile, bill gates who copied ideas of Steve's and made windows which made him so rich. Steve is rabel initially. Even he got fired from his own company he found Pixar world's famous animation studio and several other initiations which lead him to back to Apple and improved his management skills and the way of handling people many good things from him too, apart from talking any good things about him, just you talking about bad temper. He faced many problems from childhood, spent without food and no own place to stay, he got inspired after travelled to India and some other countries from spirituality (especially Buddhism). Sadhguru as you said in another video, Elon is not capable to talk about evolution of people as he is tech guy, but visionary, world of tech changed guy Steve Jobs with his anger management(initially later improved) you compared him with an example of Alexander. This leads me to loose some impression in your intellectual thinking (I know I'm nothing, just I want to express my opinion).

steve jobs was just a phone designer!!!!! For your kind information he was the creator of Apple I,Apple II,The Macintosh,Pixar( Pixar went on to win 26 Academy Awards), NeXT, The Cube, The iPod,The MacBook ,The iPhone ,The iPad Tablet. And if you don't know the history of computer evaluation through Apple I,Apple II,The Macintosh then it would be logical for you that chinese and korean can do it. These fellows try to teach people that if each individual is happy then the whole world will be a happier place. But this is contradictory. examples also should be applied upon him "if sadguru does not promote yoga and meditation then chinese and korean can also do it in more less expensive and more flexible system." We can say newton, einstein,Euclid,Fibonacci,Srinivasa Ramanujan was dumb bcz they have sacrificed their happiness for the sake of well being of people( who can comment in a second without knowing a single bit of information about those dumb man). We have this beautiful world with so much technologies, advancement in medicine, contraction of million buildings, production bcz people are sacrificing their own happiness for making smile to their child, parent and as a result the smile of whole society. plz tell to sadguru at least watch the biography on steve jobs then leave a comment.

Chinese and Korean are doing yoga better than India. Neither India nor sadhguru has any problem with this. You missed the point completely. Sadhguru is only saying that one should be a better human being first.

@@vsjanakpuri8981 The definition of better human being is different from person to person. From my point of view, you are wrong and from your point of view i am wrong. Its' the beauty of this world, we the people are so different from each other And that's why the path of enlightenment is also different .May be idiocy of steve jobs and alexander is the base of their enlightenment . Think about a world where everyone are following sadguru and every avatar is like sadguru.Every people are trying to be sadguru every people are dressed like the isha foundations' sannasi. From your point of view the world may be a peaceful world but from my point of view the world missed it's color. And that's why from my experience there is no ultimate point of view and definition .

@@ashish4104 it is the basic human reaction that no one will be happy when someone shout at him.But It needs tremendous patience and wisdom to be happy in adverse situation. The obvious answer from these young people like me are sure that no one will be happy if someone shout at him.The question itself is misleading. We depend upon these fellows for our crucial life questions. But the answers for life differ from person to person.
