I worked in Isha foundation for an year as a Volunteer and left as soon as I started thinking logically. The volunteers are blind and it's not that the foundation itself is completely negative. There are some good things and people feel better but the more you know about it you understand it's just a business.

I once contacted ISHA for yoga classes and their fees was 10k for 15 days...i cancelled ofcourse but then i started receiving messages/calls for donation to a kid for cancer who need 25 lakhs for operation. I told them that few hospitals who operate for free. So Your only guru is your conscience.

Actually many hospitals don't hv doctors with enough expertise as well as resources. Especially, when it comes to cancer treatments. Plus, when u receive such messages u r not being forced to donate. What is frightening is the youth going bonkers about every word they listen in these isha foundation videos. No one wants to ponder or rethink twice because its easier to surrender. Educated youth who get to learn about subjective and objective things in life and are exposed to number of perspectives come to surrender to blind beliefs. Yoga, social cause and other initiatives can all be done in a subtle manner, simplistic approach. Isha foundation spends crores on events they do, their offices have all apple desktops for all their employees, they sell idols for over 30k each saying they have sadgurus energy. At the end their is a lot of business involved and its not an issue. Issue is hiding all of it and promoting self as a complete non profit making module in the name of spirituality.

I agree that one can disagree but basic research has to be done. The courts have dismissed the case. I have been in the area many times, the poachers and wildlife, sandalwood smuggling was rampant. Now it's down to nothing since Ashram is at the Entrance.

What I feel is, he thought highly of Sadhguru in hi earlier podcasts. In the latest ones he is mocking him. It is better that he does a thorough analysis and then decide if he wants to show regard or disregard!

I think Sadhguru doesn't focus on praising himself like the many Babas you see on Aastha channel. He preaches spirituality. I think we can see some real spirituality in people these days instead of personal agendas.

Actually he does. He claims to destroy his disciples if they violate his rules. He claims to be reincarnation and will fulfiller of a 15000 year old yogi who isn’t named in any text.But sure we are Indians,we are idol and hero worshippers. We just need somebody to tell us how to think and that’s what you see around you everywhere.
