Watched the whole video to look for a benefit of keeping the beard. Honestly I was ready for any answer, but there was none. I have 100 reasons to cut my beard. I feel cleaner, feels hygienic. And not just facial hair, lot of other hair at the private places. I feel much better without them than with them. Somethings did not go with evolution and I feel they will go with time. If you wanna keep a beard, keep it. If you don't, don't. Atleast do not give half baked arguments.

I stopped washing myself, cutting my beard and my nails, and also wearing clothes, all are very unnatural. You only do all of that because it doesn't feel painful enough. well, I love my beard! But I do disagree with the defined message of not cutting or modifying it.. Just like nails, other hair, teeth, and many other parts of our bodies need to be maintained. Also, fashion and hygiene do work together in some shapes or forms.. While my beard is currently sitting at a good 10 inches, I regularly trim and shape it, same with moustache, nails etc. While I definitely agree with the overall message that nature does have a purpose for everything and I also agree with the design of a beard, I don’t wanna look like him though 🤣🤣🤣 After all, we don’t live in caves anymore and personal hygiene shouldn’t look like we still do.. I respect everyone’s decision though and am just happy that I’m blessed with the beard I have.. 🙏🙏

(Don't take it wrong m just discussing it politely) Well that's what beards are for, they act as filters and reduces infection around your face. They gets dirty in order to not let your face get dirty. Since mouth and noses are a very big gate of entry for germs and bacterias. And talking about personal hygiene I would say, it's same with having long hairs on yo head then. I think if you wash it regularly there isn't a prob. Yeah, it's different when comes to nails bcz we always use them so it can difficult but it's not same with our mouth and nose (I mean u can still intake anything by mouth with a limited size of beard. Cleaning or removing is obviously a big part of hygiene but u should what you should clean and shouldn't. Well m not forcing you to have a big beard. M just discussing this matter. I myself don't like beards since they aren't attractive at all. It's just like knowing fast food is unhealthy yet u eat them but in limit.

For beard things, all yogis keep it, just as they describe they don't identify themselves with the body, the beard somehow makes the face similar, and one not too much interested in looking and identifying with it. To each their own. The reason I started growing a beard was to stop the acne on my chin. Again, this isn't the solution for all but for me. Secondly, when I reached the age of 33 I felt having a beard felt right, ever since then I've increased the length, and now I have a full beard that's approximately 7cm long. I enjoy having a beard, it also sets me apart from the crowd. Some people compliment me and others say it makes me look older, but that's ok, it their opinion and doesn’t change the fact I love having a beard.

About eyebrows growing in front of eyes, i have seen such baboon or an ape of a human being, maybe its in your genetics perhaps. I think no beard just looks and feel more neat and tidy. It has nothing to do with fashion. Many cultures see it as a symbol of cleanliness. And we can't invalidate their culture.

Sadhguru isn’t compelling you to do anything. This topic is in reference to using everything to your advantage on the spiritual path. If you aren’t full on spiritual mode, then you’re fine.

@@zacherybutter7349 I don't have a beard so it's not about me. I'm a girl. I'm saying that other cultures have exactly opposite concepts of spirituality and I just wanted to mention it. Cleanliness and being tidy is an important part of their spiritual practices. Neither am I asking anybody to follow anything. I just wanna spread this info under a relevant video cz it reminded me of it. That's all.
