6 жыл бұрын

During a memorial event in California, a seeker asks Sadhguru the best way to handle grief over the loss of a loved one. Sadhguru discusses how to approach the certainty of mortality, and explains that if one learns to conduct the present moment gracefully, then the moment of death with also happen gracefully.
#Sadhguru
Yogi, mystic and visionary, Sadhguru is a spiritual master with a difference. An arresting blend of profundity and pragmatism, his life and work serves as a reminder that yoga is a contemporary science, vitally relevant to our times.

This reminds me of some old persons specially in villages ..when they are sick and asked by their relatives to get admitted in the hospital they just say ..I m dying and I dont want to die in a hospital ..let me live my last time in my own house with my own family and justceant to pray to god..traditionally indian culture has this acceptability atleast in old age..but now everyone wants to stay young and immortal..

When the body has passed the point of no return through illness then I think it is cruel to extend the misery by drugs or machines . I watched my mother take her last breath after her last four days on life support, she was two weeks from her 70th birthday and I could see her spirit was slipping away and wanted to leave her body . After turning her machines off it took 16 hours for her organs to close down with her heart being the last . Its sad watching this but at the same time beautiful and at the end a tear ran down her cheek and a smile came on her face , as if to say I've had enough of this life I'm going home .

Mahe Ohna, my late wife passed over. The heart attack was sudden and unexpected. She laid on the floor and I did CPR. Her fear passed, what was her sought out my eyes and looked into me. I told her it was okay, to go without fear or worry, and to be away from here, kissed her and she was gone from the body in only a moment. I can not explain this further, but hope those who read this take it as it is meant. It was her time, I could not hold her out of selfishness, nor could I let her leave overcome with fear or clinging to worry for me. Mahe Ohna

The Bible stated: "As you sow , so shall you reap" Its how many of us understood , karma. After reading Sadhguru's latest: "Karma, A Yogi's guide to crafting your destiny", I understand we can create our lives standing on top of our karma(what we have sowed) and use it to create our destiny as we want it to be; not compulsively as our past would tend to move us to act. Most reap what they have sown, not taking charge of their lives... C'est dommage.

Sadhguru has described the intellect as a knife. The sharper the intellect the more it is able to cut, to divide into two. The intellect is a very useful survival tool, but it is very limited to the physical realm. The spiritual realm, consciousness requires perception not division of the intellect. Consciousness cannot be known by intellect only by perception, Ive understood Sadhguru to say. Sadhguru is not "smart" or well learned. He has perception of life beyond our comprehension.

"The day we are born we are dying" I forgot who said this but it has stuck with me since. All of our time will come eventually to face our mortality gracefully.

i lost the closest person to me, this helped. it really did. watching them crumble slowly. but their life chose when they wanted to. it wasn’t us. she chose.
