Now it is the responsibility of those who misunderstood and spread the misinformation unintentionally to also propagate this clarification. I am also seeing ISKCON devotees going after Sadhguru by consuming limited information and drawing conclusions and throwing opinions all over the place, as if Sadhguru is doing some different work than ISKCON is doing. It was very hurtful to see that and that too from devotees.

If anybody is a genuine seeker of Truth and thereby is genuine devotee of Lord Krishna, they would know that his very statement is I am in the form of Enlightened beings in Geetha. So, first of all it is wrong to separate Krishna from a Being of Highest order like Sadhguru and on top of that, somebody dares to prove Sadhguru's words wrong, what to say about them, its their Karma!

First of all, it is wrong to equate Krishna to athma or paramathma or consciousness. It is like equating shakhti (thoguhts/body/world/universe) to consciousness which is an attribute or dharma of Shiva. Sri Krishna says the following in Bhagavad Gita. Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 12 (ATHMA = PARAMATHMA) “na tv evāhaṁ jātu nāsaṁ na tvaṁ neme janādhipāḥ na caiva na bhaviṣyāmaḥ sarve vayam ataḥ param” “Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings, and from this time forward, none of us will ever cease to be” Here, Sri Krishna refers to the conscious, immortal, immutable, self luminous, immanent (athma), transcendent and omnipresent paramathma as 'I", ''you ``,''us ``. Point is, Krishna was a mortal (like other avatars) even though an avatar (non karmic birth). He was killed by a stray arrow of a hunter (Vali's reincarnation) since avatar Rama was cursed by Vali's pious wife Thara for killing her husband by hiding behind a tree.

It is because not everyone perceives the duality of observer and observed beyond the wake/dream/deep sleep state to read the cosmic/metaphysical truth which is a totally different dimnesion from unity consciousness where no duality exists. it is the reason why not everyone who reached samadh can read past/present/future or have clairvoyant abilities. it is also the reason why both knowledge and experience are important in Hindu/Vedic tradition. Yes, knowledge without experience is like a barren land but experience without knowledge is like a blind man. eg Wrong "nirvana" conclusion by buddhists despite giving importance to experience

Go read Puranas to know how Hari did tapas and obtained boon from SadaShiv to later become one of the adityas called Vishnu, and hence the avatars. Of course what you say is true but it is the other way around. Yoga represents the maths and laws of existence and even Gods are bound by it, be it even Krishna, and Krishna knows it in knowledge and practice (leela), and that's why he could represent Supreme Conciousness, in a form, which without yoga, cannot be contained in a single physical identity, but he does that, and that's the power of Yoga.

Shiva/Vishnu/Brahma and their wives Shakthi/Lakshmi/Saraswathi are just cosmic allegories for the same immortal and omnipresent self Athma (the impassive experiencer of everything but not the doer of anything) and intelligent energy. Husband and wife always exist together for the perpetual duality cycles of nature (wife) to happen (in the conscious field of the husband). e.g. Rajas/Tamas guna or yin/yang duality cycle in the conscious field of athma sustained by Sathvik guna of intelligent energy. Summer (Brahma + Saraswathi), Winter (Shiva + Shakthi) duality cycles in the conscious field (of the husband) sustained by spring or dharma (vishnu + Lakshmi).
