Sadie is an insane woman. In that one mission where the O'Driscoll's attack Shady Bell, literally everyone got inside the house for cover because there was like 30 of them surrounding the house. But Sadie was out behind a shed in a knife fight with 3 of them at once and when Arthur said she should get inside she was like "hell no I'm having too much fun out here" and I was just like "Jesus, even Dutch is shitting his pants right now, you don't have to impress anyone."

You know, watching this reminded me how much of tragic life arthur had... His mom dad, and he watched his dad get killed. His wife(kinda) and his son were both killed. He contracted TB. He watched some of his closest friends get killed. (Hosea, Sean, Lenny) He watched his father figure slowly go insane. He watched what seemed like his only proper family (the gang) slowly dissolve into madness. And through all of it, he kept on supporting the ones he cared about up until his death.

@Akira Rivera she doesnt try to kill Pearson until the camp is moved from horseshoe overlook to the second camp. You have to do a dozen missions (in game, that's a month) before you leave horseshoe overlook. You can talk to her 20 times before the move and she has something different to say. And she isn't "trying to kill Pearson" right off the bat after moving either. You have to go through another 4 or 5 missions at THAT location too (so another 2 weeks in game).Pssh, please

If you took your time exploring (I wanted the legend of the East satchel going into chapter 4) and didnt want the story to progress too fast, you could really see how everyone grew, including her

Her and her husband live in the fucking mountains away from civilization and covered in snow all the time. It's not Rockstars fault that you weren't at camp long enough to experience the transformation either. She's not a perfect character of course but she is a well written one.

Sadie is one of my more favorable characters, she tells a wonderful story about loss, tragedy, fun and love. She really develops as a character throughout the whole game.

​​@@DeadX2 She's literally nowhere near a Mary Sue. A Mary Sue is a female character who has no flaws and is pretty much blessed by the plot to be conveniently lucky and pretty. Her impulsiveness, and bloodthirsty need for revenge are her biggest flaws. But sure! I mean seeing your husband dead and watching your house burn down is extremely lucky for her! Her status at the epilogue isn't that much better. She may have had the money, but she'll never get her husband back. In one interaction she expressed that she wants to die, which probably explains why she gets into a lot of fights besides her anger. If she were a Mary Sue, she would've found her Prince Charming they would've rode off into the sunset.

Sadie Ch1 and 2: Grieving Ch3: accepting and standing her ground Ch4 and last part of Ch5: an avid fighter. Ch6: she starts being aggressive and endangering some of her companions. Epilogues: Sadie is borderline broken, arrogant, cynical and not only endangers herself but companions and the tasks.

How is she a messed up psycho? Her husband was killed. God knows what the O'Driscols did to her. Her house was burnt down and all her possessions were taken from her. Now she is surrounded by a gang of outlaws who pretty much just rob and kill for a living. This is the most logical progression for her. If she turned out to be a nun after all she's been through, that would have been really messed up.

Personally i believe that sadie and jake adler were rdr2's bonnie and clyde..i mean why else would a couple be living out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere in the snow, with a huge ranch, isolated from society, also she tracked down the odriscolls in secret and helped take down their whole gang, i also believe that she is responsible for the capture and subsequent hanging of colm odriscoll. And she becomes a legendary female bounty hunter

I hate that Sadie didn't get DLC. I really, REALLY wanted Red Dead Redemption 2 to get the Episodes of Liberty City DLC treatment, where we see the story from the perspective of other characters. When Arthur, Dutch, Bill, Javier and Micah were in Guarma we could've gotten DLC where Sadie briefly assumes the role as gang's leader in Dutch's stead since the gang members mention that she was the one who kept everyone together, safely relocated the family, and saw to it that Hosea, Lenny, and Kieran got proper burials.
