My main objection to Kahn is his WEF C40 / C100 city activities. The collusion of major conurbation officuals across the country and beyond to implement WEF policies that are ultimately to our detriment and not included in any manifestos is a huge problem. Free school meals and cheaper transport - all good of course. But imposing LTNs making journeys to work hours longer and more stressful (looking as Streatham) is self defeating. I loath the honours system, BTW, so resist any listing of "good deeds" as it simply perpetuates it. There are no bad or good candidates for a corrupt and corrupting system.
