You don’t notice it in any sort of mix. Solo any recorded bass track and you’ll hear string noise, clack, rattle, and all sort of other crap. It disappears.

seems like its mainly because the action is so low rather than the bass itself, those strings are really loose

I have a quick question about the Sadowsky pre-amp. When you're changing between active and passive, does doing this cause much of a volume difference between active or passive? I know I'm some instruments there's a huge change, and on others there's almost none.

There is no discernible difference in passive/active according to my experience with Sadowsky basses.

I PURCHASED THIS BASS 2 WEEKS AGO AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEO AND IT MOST DEFINITELY DOES NOT COME WITH A "JUST A NUT" NUT IT COMES WITH AN AVERAGE NORMAL NUT ALSO, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE VIDEO IT SHOWS A HIPSHOT STRING TREE WHEN THEY SHOW THE NUT BUT ONCE THEY ZOOM BACK OUT, ITS A NORMAL CHEAPER STRING TREE SO THEY'RE NOT SHOWING THE ACTUAL BASS IN THE CLOSE UP. ITS STILL A GREAT BASS, BUT THIS VIDEO HAS FALSE INFORMATION. BUYER BEWARE

All the current Warwick licenced Sadowsky MetroExpress indeed feature the Sadowsky Just-A-Nut III, if the one you purchased doesn't have one, it is probably either one of the very first generation of our MetroExpress basses from early 2020, before we improved on a lot aspects in the MetroExpress production and added the Just-A-Nut III system to the MetroExpress or you might have a counterfeit product. The close up clip of the Just-A-Nut III in this video was filmed on a Sadowsky MetroLine and is just a showcase for the functionality of the Just-A-Nut III but the string retainers of MetroLine and MetroExpress do differ. If you are unsatisfied with your instrument, you can try to return it and contact an official Sadowsky dealer in your area or order one directly from our shop at "shop.warwick.de" and be sure you will recieve one with a Just-A-Nut. You can also consider upgrading your bass with an aftermarket Just-A-Nut III, which you can also find in our shop. For that we provide installation video guides on this channel, but we recommend to let a guitar technician swap the nut if you decide for that option.
