If they ever add The Mask, I want to see the interactions. And before anyone says “bring back Jim Carrey,” absolutely not… in case for those who live under a rock like Patrick Star, Jim Carrey announced around last year that he’s already planning to retire, and I believe most recently has sold his expensive home. What they need to do is get back Rob Paulsen, I mean… he’s the voice of Stanley Ipkiss/The Mask, AND he’s already in MultiVersus as Brick and Boomer (alternate skins for The Powerpuff Girls, who got confirmed today) so why not bring him back as The Mask.

Surprised they didn't do a Batman quip, even with the new Keaton skin in the game. In LEGO Dimensions he makes a quip about "playing that gig" to batman, so I figured he'd make the same or a similar quip given it's one of his few interactions in that game. Still, he has some of my favorite interactions in Multiversus.

It’s because meta enough, and self aware enough that it works. And he did break the fourth wall in the second film. Besides he’s a ghost but magical and reacts like a live action cartoon. Even though the animated series isn’t canon per se, it did established “it’s showtime” as a catchphrase (more so than the first movies and him breaking the forth wall into the public’s mind. So much so that he breaks the fourth wall in Broadwall version too.
