Kitana means well for her sister. She knows the consequences of her actions n she doesnt want to lose her sister. She already lost her Father n Sindel took a huge hit on that one both mentally n emotionally. Cuz now she has to shoulder the entire relam on her own while keeping the peace n making sure her genrals like Shao wont openly start war. It doesnt help that Sindel has to worry about Mileenas tarkat as well. So kitana is doing what she can to keep the peace in her family whole aiding her mother n protecting her sister. They gave kitana a deeper story unlike her previous origin where she was shao kahns adopted daughter n personal assassin.

Not exactly true they had one intro that was somewhat flirty but nobody thought anything of it Then mk11 came along and made them both bisexual and its like ok i could see that for mileena but tanya yeah no nrs just looked at a picture with female fighters covered their eyes and threw a dart and it landed on tanya and it kinda ruined her for me not to mention mileena had a thing with reiko and baraka and im sure there were more.

How do you get these skins?

you get them from the shrine. an easy way to get a lot of koins is to go to tutorial mode and do every character's first combo challenge, then press the select button back in the main menu and go to notifications to claim the money. you get something like 50,000 coins. and atm if you don't wanna grind to get these skins for free you can buy Mileena 's one with all the colour variants and the sai . But I just grinded and got them from the shrine. after this tutorial trick (the first combos in the challenge are very easy which is why that method doesn't even take long), the farming thing I'm doing now is in invasions but you have to have completed the season and defeated arctic sub zero first. after that you will unlock the ice gates and access fights that are well above level 30, you find an endurance fight, equip the invisible relic which prevents you from taking damage and lets you get a flawless victory every time and do the uppercut brutality at the end and you will get 400 coins each time. you can gain xp this way also much faster for character mastery. It's still very grindy but much faster than other ways that I know of. So hope that helps with koins so you can get the story mode Mileena and Kitana skins more easily.

Not gonna like, didn't care for this version of the story, some stuff was ok, but overall MK1 story is poorly written.
