Lol rants is going abit ott here. I get his point and also get saeeds. Tbh eth has been forced to play a certain way cz he don't have his players. Also eth knows he needs a certain type of athlete which is needed for PL. However I think in all he does want to play better football bcz he's going for players who are good on the ball which is why de gea the cbs and mid are a convo in order to play a certain way. Saeed when it comes to giving the point is explaining it in the most terrible way. Neymar for me, unless PSG pay his wages and its a loan cool i can see it and im for that, Have him there for the year and then have Kane and Rashford or another ST and Rashford then get a Evan Ferguson as a back up or main starter in 2024/25 season. For me if you want to build a team who can progress, Neymar is a short term fix for us when we want to build a team for the long term. Why we go for this short term fix Because its Neymar or Ronaldo or Messi. Harry Kane even but Harry Kane we can get 3/4 years out of him without the ego headaches. Technical ability he has it but we know hes going to get injured again because he draws fouls and we know he wont give it his all when absolutely needed. Rants is complaining after west ham get everyone out then says Neymar?!?! Ill put 1£ million bet on him saying he can leave or get everyone out including Neymar if he comes. There's no giant fee, so no pressure and he'd be linking up with Casemiro, Fred, Anthony, other South Americans and multiple Portuguese speakers. If Neymar is comfortable and having fun... Obviously Neymar is Neymar. But we we’re stacked on the left. If we get the Qataris in, and we’re not concerned about finances then I’m fine with it. But if it’ll affect our other transfer plans then it’s a bad move. We’d be paying crazy money (loan fee, transfer fee and/or wages, however the deal is setup) to get another player who’s best on the left. Reminds me of when we got Alexis Sanchez for no reason. We need to focus on the weaknesses in our existing team. Get a forward, get midfielders, get a goalkeeper. Unless Ten Hag has a vision for Neymar at the 9, or we have unlimited funds so the move won’t affect our other plans, it’s a bad move.

In the prem i dont see Man utd being able to afford the luxury of having a player like Neymar who we know aint tracking back unless they have a extremely defensively solid midfield. PSG dominate france but there is a reason they fall short in Europe and out of there star studded front 3 Neymar tends to be the one that underperformes. When i watch him he always feels like he holds onto the ball a little longer than he needs too. Neymar is very technically gifted tho so very easy on the eye but i feel like sancho is in the same mold but not as good and it just doesnt work so i understand saeeds point that galactico transfer strategy never really yields anything tangable.
