As a Brit, I'm amazed by how much space the drivers gave you leading up to that tunnel and through it. Over here at least 3 or 4 cars would have close passed individual and groups of cyclists in that situation.

always with music, right ear earphone only.. plus new airpods for example have transparency.... traffic on the left side... zero issues in 6 years, zero close cals. Also garmin varia adds reasurance...
