During Venmegha Hamsangal, Dennis Joseph started to have crush on actress Sumalatha, which was made into Gossip by Cartoonist Yeshudas in His Weekly column in Malayala Manorama. Yeshudas was taking a revenge on Dennis , since Dennis became the editor the weekly which was edited by Yeshudas replacing him.. This led to the winding up off that Movie.
