Hazrat Abbas a.s. was younger brother of Imam Husain a.s. and the Son of Imam Ali a.s.. Hazrat Abbas a.s. was Imam Ali's dua for Imam Husain a.s. Imam Ali a.s. asked nothing for himself from Allah except pardons the only thing after that Imam Ali a.s. asked for himself was Hazrat Abbas. The son who could accompany Imam Husain a.s. in Karbala. Hazat Abbas was very learned and very brave and more over he was extremely faithfull to his brother Imam Husain a.s.. he never called Imam Husain his brother but instead he used to call him his master (Aaqa). He did not fight in karbala as Imam Husain a.s. did not allowed him to go to the battle field but Imam Husain a.s. asked him to bring water from Furaat when he insisted to go to battle field.. Imam Husain a.sm gave him a broken spear to protect himself and took all his arms and sent him to bring water.. he was so brave that armies when came to know that hazrat Abbas is comming to take water the ran and fled from the river furat.. hazrat Abbas without any problem reached furat and started filling the leather bag ( mashk) with water.. leather bag takes considerable time to fill and a good chunk of time more when it is dry.. so he calmly and effortlessly took hid time to fill the leather bag with water mean while the ran away armies surrounded him he knew that he is surrounded but he was calm as no one dared to attack him.. he successfully came out of the river sat on his horse and started returning he was then embushed and was targeted by yazid's armies he fought bravely and killed all who came to attack him then the archers and all started tarrgeting the leather bag instead of him he was trying to save leather bag and amidst of this the armies attacked him from behind and cut hid hands he clutched the waterbag in his mouth but then an arrow shot the waterbag and the water spilled just after that someone targeted his eye and shot a javlin into hid right eye the otherone hit him on his head with the hammer.. he was then surrounded and was killed by yazid's armies... just a few hunderd meters away from the tents of imam Husain a.s. He was the backbone of imam Husain a.s. he was the savior or bibi Zainab's rida ( janab e zainab s.a. was imam Husain's and Hazrat Abbas's sister.) Hazrat Abbas was sharing a very good niece uncle bond with Imam Husain's 4 year old daughter Janab e Sakina s.a..

He have Same Power like Hazrat Ali even Hazrat Ali had realised his strength during the test when he fought with him by covering his face at night. The One And Only Ghazi Alamdar. If Imaam Hussain ra had Allowed him to fight Imaam Hussain ra could never managed to fulfill his promise to Allah to be slaughtered on the name of Ummat-e-rasool. Because if he had allowed him to fight no enemies were left to fullfil the promise and he knew that. Allah-O-Akbar
