Only releasing this one on Bandcamp for now (link in description!), I have hungover vampire vocals for it but have to keep it on the backburner until I finish the current batch of songs I'm working on (more of a cleaner, polished vibe). Just giving you a hint of what's to come and letting you know I'm alive. Hope you're all well xox

I really like the idea of adding breakbeats to Post-Punk, notably because both Post-Punk and Drum and Bass have similar or the same BPM. Make Gothstep a thing.

Have been listening to breakbeat a lot this year, good for running.

Sounds like New Order. In seriousness though I'm digging this a lot, I love its energy.

Really like this. Reminds me of the Manchester band The Longcut.

Desmond, i love it every time you post a new song, please try and work on more songs of your own. My favourite song so far is wanted.

I thought Post-Punk was just when a post office worker with a Mohican puts an electricity bill through your letterbox.

It reminds me of the small post-punk revival scene that happened between 2009-2011 with bands like Minks, Beach Fossils and Wild Nothing.

I really like this. Though it's glitchy breakbeat, the drum patterns remind me of Phil Selway.

Yeahyeah, this is the type of stuff I'm trying to make now. Very nice! (I'm trying to write songs for a film I'm writing, which definitely will never be done, but I'm getting out of my system. :-D)

You're working on the soundtrack for a movie that won't ever exist? That's actually really a cool concept for an album.
@RegebroRepairs9 ай бұрын
@@skaldlouiscyphre2453 Well, I'm trying to write a script as well, but have no high hopes. 😀 I might finish it, maybe, but it probably won't be any good, and even if it is good I can't imagine anyone actually making it.
@skaldlouiscyphre24539 ай бұрын
@@RegebroRepairs Good luck with writing it, if you can't make a movie from it you might want to consider adapting it as a novella. I've had projects of that sort, but never managed to focus on them long enough to see much through to completion.
@RegebroRepairs9 ай бұрын
@@skaldlouiscyphre2453 I'm really bad at describing people and places, which is why I'm doing it as a script and not a book.
