Hi, is that custom setup to attach the cordless drill or is is the purchased optional extra.

Great review. I use a mini rig now, and have strong arm suction cup, but this would be a great addition for those more textured or marred or smaller safes. Can you give an idea on the amount of manual pressure you need to get through some of the harder plate, as in, is it just like a drill press with 1 to 1 power transfer?

the pressure needed is also part of the drill bit diameter used and material hardness you are trying to drill.

Serious question why use this as oposed to a full on magnetic drill used I'm the steel fabrication industry

Yehuda ad it doesn't require power making it more versatile, its less bulky and most importantly the permanent magnet adheres to thinner steel much better than an electromagnet which requires much thicker steel to achieve full clamping force
