Is there any test available for this type of armor (soft), that measures kinetic energy... for when the round impacts/causes a bulge, and makes contact with the body? I haven’t seen any, but I may not have been looking in the right places.

I like seeing these kinds of videos especially with the ballistic dummies having bone and organs in them. gives ya a good idea what happens when a bullet hits even with body armor

Very interesting. I'd like to see what kind of damage the rounds would do to the balistic torso if it was hard plates vs soft plates

I'd say ask my boy "Deady Hawk" about what it's like to get shot sub-eight feet with it but uhh... Maybe Mr. Bye-cep could give an insight though.

I'm happy he used a 20 inch m16 In the ar 15 world at that close of range that is a worse case scenario

Just went to use your old "Wax Shells" video with Barry to explain something. Has KZbin wiped it? Sort of found the same but not, by other means but not going to explain too much. So how many of your old posts have been wiped?

That first shot that drew the blue blood looked like an armor shot to me...

That's what I was thinking. The vest is high where it should be. So I'm confused on that.

Who else wanted them to shoot a whole tube of birdshot at the dummy after they were done
@marzcapone99394 жыл бұрын
That's a good video idea. Some say birdshot is lethal for HD, some say it's not. Real question is, what range is it lethal, and what size shot? That dummy would be a fairly accurate test medium. Also, test a wax slug and buckshot.

Great slug. Took a mule deer at 47yards with one. Punched straight through on a broadside shot and he piled up at 30yards. If you take those slugs out to a range day be sure to warn people about the recoil. Shoot the slugs while standing or prone only, not seated at a bench.
