It's my dad's detailing and paint coatings business. All the products are from the AutoSmart range (Highfoam Plus, Autowash, Aquashine). Wash buckets are called Kentucky style buckets and available from any professional janitorial supply warehouse. Everything else is pretty much standard. He uses bath sponges for the wheels as they have a rough side and a sponge side (rough for tyre faces and brake dust, sponge side for everything else). autosmart.co.uk/products/product-categories/exterior-cleaners

Another great video pal. Good idea to do basic maintenance videos, will come in very useful

Would it be better to use a proper tyre brush rather than a sponge/cloth?

Not sure which part you mean James but I'll try to answer as best I can. Cleaning the wheels on a maintenance wash (not heavily contaminated) is done with a bath sponge. The sponge has a sponge side and an exfoliating rough textured side. The rough texture is designed for skin so although it is rough to the feel, it does not damage the alloy surface in any way (including after market painted finishes). The exfoliating side is used on the tyre face and any stubborn brake dust deposit on the alloy. The sponge side is used to clean the alloy wheel surface. In the black bucket are wheel brushes but they didn't feature in this basic maintenance wash video. For the tyre dressing, old microfibre cloths are used before they get consigned to the bin. They are used to dry the tyre surface first (otherwise the dressing is likely to "fling" onto the bodywork) and spread the dressing evenly over the tyre surface. Hope that helps.
