You should put a cliff platform at the back of your base overlooking the blue zone. As like a landing pad for future rock drakes. Should look good

Watching the base bob and weave as you run around is hilarious. Good choice on the mobile platform base. Looking forward to seeing the ultimate Paracer take on the blue and red zones. The waterfalls at 6:51 in the video are a good pearl spawn so don't build structures there if you can. Also home to a lot of Basilisk if you decide to try and breed an ultimate pet snake. Don't worry about the otters in the rivers. You'll find and kill many of them just going around. Sadly, as they are not a light pet on Aberration they are not very useful even to run any cave beyond the Old Railway in the Green zone. Excellent choice of final location for farming crabs, Spinos and Yi Lings.

The only useful thing the otter has on abb is the ability to hold multiple artifacts.

That isn't Syntac that is Jim and i'm sure if you had asked him he would have moved it. Go up the hill from there to the surface exit and build on the ledge to the left of it you won't regret it. SO much metal and Keratin in that exit and you can build a ramp up to it. You could also build a platform base in the blue zone at the top of the waterfall going down to that resource ledge for metal and Obsidian. FYI Tree platforms do not work on this map. Yet. Hopefully someone will mod that. You CAN use platforms on that cliff edge though, turn a small area into a big one. Zeppelin Landing pad is what you should do with that area on the blue edge. You really surpassed my expectations as to the size of the area you were claiming. The large walls can be skinned now so if you ever decide to add 4 more walls height on top of what you have you can use the big walls. Great episode thanks for the entertainment.

My family and I built in the same exact spot. We ended up putting turrets up because the Yi Lings were a pain in the back side.

Fence post foundations, as opposed to the default fence foundations, keep your walls in line with each other. You made it work though.

Yay so glad Evo posted! And if finally getting a more permit base location. The base location you wanted is Jim's farm. You are close to Axe and Syntac now. You should put some plant species Z around your base as well as on your mobile base. Helps heal you and dinos, plus helps with light.

OH! You may want to close off that side facing the blue zone because Drakes spawn literally right there at the foot of that cliff and they will climb up :) 11:04 bottom left corner there is literally one right there.

For the diagonal portion you could have snapped a triangle foundation/ceiling to get the angle to change

I would add a cliff platform. They are cool to build on and come in 3 sizes. Also it will give you more room to work with.

I love the mobile base's fancy practical vibe. Did you know you can collect the giant ascerbics mushroom trees, in Plant Pots? You can place them anywhere, and then walk across top of their caps. I bet you make a platforming parkour course for the fellas, themed for the map with mushroom jumping.

Just an idea since It doesn't seem like you could get attacked from that way, build a large platform on top of the big rock that you're looking at 24:20. You'll have an awesome view of the blue area and the "world tree" as I call it. Then you'll have the whole flat area for dinos & whatever else you need.

You should talk to Syntac. He’ll probably move his amphibians elsewhere for you to have your spot. I love the paraceratherium respect here. Sure, they aren’t great and need a tic, but they are still really good creatures. Your building designs are awesome, and I cannot wait to see how you make use of cliff and tree platforms here

I'm almost 100% certain you can't put tree platforms on those trees. At least I could not in single player. 😢 Also, if you're looking for easy silica pearls, that river you mentioned coming off fertile lake with the waterfalls has several clams in it 😁

Super convenient central spot to get around from. Great choice! Just a thought but you could look into cliff platforms for building out over the blue zone or up the big rocks next to you for additional space if you need it!

We built our base in that same spot, but a lot smaller. Its a pretty good spot but metal seems to be an issue on the ASA ab now. Looking forward to seeing things you find being there

Yea blue zone metal is not what it used to be. I use the NW surface access cave now, lots of high quality metal nodes that look like rocks and it's a quick run on a ravager with ziplines. I go with an anky in my pocket, RMB clears the bones quickly around the metal rocks.

I've noticed that the charge nodes, while visually emitting a light that one might consider to be "charge light", is in fact not charge light. Nameless still spawn and attack you without getting the charge effect applied to them. Just so you know should you find yourself in a situation where you think the charge node will help you out.

Too bad about your original spot. It's funny I actually built my base on the opposite side of the river from where you ended up. There's natural ziplines going down from where the power terminal is. And a gas vein. There's also a ramp going down into the blue zone as well

You can use the triangle ceilings to change directions with the type of wall you are building, placing a triangle ceiling on and of the walls then placing a wall would give you the 120 degree angles to subtle change direcrions Then if you place a square seiling onto the triangle ceiling you get a 60 degree angle to build off, which gives alot more flexibility for making walls the same height
