They will be all alone but not necessarily feeling lonely and at a party you can be surrounded by dozens of people and still feel lonely despite not being physically alone.

59:30 I think Michael is thinking about the word "ingestible" although even that is pretty vague since both things that need to pass through and not do anything and stuff like medicines which actually get into your bloodstream bloodstream are both ingestible

I tried getting from chocolate to philosophy by clicking the firs links in the wikipedia pages, and it took this path: -chocolate -cocoa bean -fermentation -metabolism -life -matter -classical physics -physics -natural science -branches of science -science -scientific method -empirical evidence -proposition -philosophy of language -analytic philosophy -phylosophy

Isnt there some weird wikipedia phenomenon similar to this? But instead of landing on philosophy its how many clicks to the third Reich or some wild stuff from a seemingly mundane topic.

53:57 i share the humour William finds in children being curious about basic fundamental questions which have answers which are too complex for them to yet comprehend the full meaning of. the world is like a whole secret until you've gained enough experience to be able to refer small learned consistent ideas to each other in order to obtain an even deeper understanding of things.

I think what Vsauce said around 9:10ish is the most perfect description of my thoughts on KZbin. I've been thinking about this for the last couple months and it's so nice to hear someone else explain my mess of thoughts in such a smooth way. I think my respect just grew tenfold

I'm loving all the questions being pondered in this ep like the psychology behind vertical video, and how songs can invite a questioning mindset. Great stuff

08:50 there is a hypothesis about how gossip helped mankind to become what it is today. Exchanging your views on trending internet content is something similar to gossip.
