Lovely little Saffron town with great and interesting architecture. Great to hear about Saffron Spice. You are not wrong about the paving Stephen. It isn't raised and at the same level as the road. One swipe and you could be taken away 😮 Looks like a cold day. 1644 plaque 👍🏽 & 1647 👍🏽 two early dates, awesome. Loved the Children sculpture. The architecture has been amazing. Saffron Walden is a lovely town which I have visited quite a few times. There are many lovely old buildings and such colour at times. I do like the gardens on the edge of town. Your wanders through these places are always so interesting.

The challenge was quite fun to watch. The whole village is so beautiful with all the historical buildings. Finding 16 in 30 minutes is great. I see your friend has won with the oldest standing building, which is amazing how old it is !! Enjoyed watching 😊

Nice to see Alice here again for another challenge! That was interesting to get a feel for Saffron Walden as you walked around. I like how you are interested in all dates, whether old or not. Keeps it all interesting. Stephen, your not much better at history street challenge than magnet fishing! You keep losing! LOL. Just kidding. It's all great fun.
