Safi'jiva solo with Charge Blade 18'16 TA + vine traps | MHW Iceborne | PC

This is such a slog, Safi solo scaling is a little bit harsh but soloing him on TA rules is doable. Area 1 was great but but my brain shut down in area 3 and I made a lot of mistakes. Sub 17 is definitely possible or even sub 16 with good AI, but I'm not the one that's gonna do it. I had better results with SAED spam than with savage up/down, he trashes around too much to get decent damage with the awful CB mobility and no mantles. This is my last Iceborne video and I'm looking forward to MH rise.

It was something along the lines of elderseal not being high enough to offset the loss of phial damage. I used to know the definitive answer but i forgor

If timed perfectly and ur shield is charged with orange or higher phials, it indeed does shield you, however he timed it perfectly to the millisecond so yeah lol

Sorry for late response. Some enemy attacks are classified as AOE and can be blocked from any direction

I didn't, you only need guard up if you are blocking the mouth lasers. The ground explosions can be blocked without it
