I need to correct the sheikh on some historical facts: Abdelkader was welcomed in Morocco and settled in Ain Zohra and the tribes in the area of Ain Zohra (Amazigh tribal area of Metalsa in the Rif) joined him in his Jihad against the French. Later the Sultan of Morocco tried to assasinate him so he fled to the east of Morocco in the area of Bni Znassen where the Amazigh tribes there joined him again in his Jihad and shortly thereafter he moved from Morocco for the final battles against the French. It was the Sultan who treacherously declared him unwanted and tried to assasinate him, to be fair and honest to him, he also helped Emir Abdelkader in the beginning and sent an army against the French to help Algeria but lost at the battle of Lala Maghnia, this was all before Morocco was subjugated to the French, they were still an independent muslim state. But it seems he feared a new war against the French and would lose his country and that's what eventually happened anyway.

Muhammed Ali Paşa is not from the Caucasus and he is not a from the lineage of the Memeluks. He is from the Town of Kavala. His lineage is that from an ayan family of the area (Kavala). He was Part of the Forces deployed in Egypt by the Ottoman Empire after the Inversion of the French. He was an Enemy of the Memluks and in a Powerstruggle with them.
