Have you really never heard that phrase before? It's been a thing forever.
@Saimeren6 жыл бұрын
I am Jungshook No.. I know what I said. "Dress to depress" has been a thing for decades. I think you're mistaken and need to do a little research before trying to correct someone. Otherwise you just come off as extremely ignorant.
@bo50876 жыл бұрын
Saimeren he said “but i’m not sure” m8
@Saimeren6 жыл бұрын
Lily Cat Right. Exactly the point I made two weeks ago. Why try to correct someone on something you're unsure about? He clearly doesn't know me, or the topic at hand. I said that the phrase "Dressed to depress" has been around for a long time, and that the OP shouldn't credit Saf for "inventing" it. "I am Jungshook" decided to try to correct me and insert other words into my mouth. "You must mean this.. Not this." No.. I know what I said. I said it for a very specific reason. If you're too lazy, ignorant, or arrogant to do the very basic research on a topic, than you have absolutely NO right trying to interject or correct. You can't show someone sympathy for not knowing something, and trying to correct someone that does. It's using opinions as facts. Am I coming off as rude, or aggressive? Probably. Is it warranted? Absolutely. People need to understand that they can't just interject into something they know nothing about.

FUN FACT: Shah Jahan never actually saw the finished project of the Taj Mahal because his son locked him in dungeon for the rest of his life. He also had plans to build a black version opposite of it for his grave, but like I said he was locked up for the last 8 years of his life. Let's just say I feel very bad for him
@thesarahdilemma97525 жыл бұрын
Little Owl that would have been cool
@kaleighshortes29645 жыл бұрын
that's actually not true, Shah Jahan never had intentions to build a "Black Taj." There's no concrete evidence that backs that up. What was more probable was the intention for it to be a water garden, given the architectural features that are still observable today. Instead of another physical building on the other side of the river, the giant pool of water from the water garden would have reflected the Taj under the moon light creating the opposite version of the mausoleum

The song "White Winter Hymnal" is a song based around the French Revolution. If you've heard it (Pentatonix did a really good cover of it), then you know it has the lines "I was following the pack all swallowed in their coats with scarves of red tied 'round their throats to keep their little heads from falling in the snow." Which is cool cause it talks about the red scarves and the beheading and all that. I just thought it was cool that Safiya also mentioned this.

Diana Zaharia once a video has reached 10 minutes, you can put an ad in there to make some more money. that's why you'll see some youtubers have videos that are 10:02 or 10:20 minutes long.

Safiya, gurl. you just unlocked another level on youtube. Buzzfeed should learn from this and see the kind of magic that can happen if only they trust their content-creators and producers. you are killin' it. much love from Singapore!
