This man is the the most genuine, open, honest and real human being of an actor in Hollywood who has shared his amazing gift from gracing us with his roles and appearances from the theater, to our televisions and then to the big screen with so many characters that we have all come to know and love. And now, his biggest accomplishment, directoring his first film, not only did he direct this remarkable movie, he acted,sang, co-wrote songs, cast, produced, and most importantly, told a story. From the moment the movie begins and Jackson is on stage-that's it..I honestly forgot I was watching Bradley Cooper. I was immediately drawn to Jackson and quite frankly felt as though I was there with him from the beginning, from the moment he walked off that stage and got in the Suburban and took those pills and and his last swig...And I there I stayed until it was over. I have NEVER been more moved and personally touched by a film in my life. You are magical Mr.Cooper. I don't know how you do what you do... but please... don't stop. I know you won't see this, but I like to give credit where credit is due. Thank you for this gift..I went and watched it 22 times at the theater, and I have purchased 15 copies (not all for me of course). This movie touched me personally ...you touched on mental health and alcoholism that can go hand in hand, or one may suffer from only one issue or both..both run in my family, EACH time I watched your story, I saw it differently, I felt it differently, I related to it differently. I took something away new each time. Lastly, I have never been in a movie theater where ALL YOU CAN HEAR IS SNIFFLING, Yet complete silence, and no one moved for 10 minutes...this was at every show. YOU ARE AMAZING!

OMG right .I took my.mother to see this thinking she won't get it .Was I wrong, she was just like me . IM SO INLOVE . Not just him but the way it all came together . He makes you really believe he is Jackson ,with the understanding of why Jackson had to be ... Gaga, she was (that had to be).I believed that , they loved each other , and ALL that comes with loving someone that didn't love themselves. I love that everyone in the theater young or old, could feel that in so many ways . I got by brother to go see it and he told me from a man's point of view ,what it was like. #One Of The Best

He is one of those rare individuals that has no seeming malice in his spirit, which means he is probably really hard on hiself, despite he seemingly good naturedness. And I guess why they said he has no edge. I did not like Silver Linings despite the cast. Loved him in Sniper which proves the no edge thing wrong, as edge usually means ppl. in some sort of pain. Sometimes it can be so easy to hate on ppl.so blessed, looks, fame, money, etc. but his enthusiasm and love for the art is so infectious and just plain good naturedness. So happy for his success.

Happy birthday to u. And his girlfriend's bday is 3 days after. Yeah Capricorns. Bradley was brilliant in A Star Is Born. What I loved about his performance was the way he both directed,wrote and sung in the film along with playing the guitar as his charcther Jackson Maine and he wasn't acting as himself. What I mean by this is i didn't sit down and say oh it's Bradley Cooper being Bradley Cooper. He WAS this washed up musician who commits suicide near the end of the movie. For me Brad is one of the greatest actors of all time. His one of my favourite actors(and one of my crushes too.... come on the dude is hot) too. He HAS to win an Oscar for A Star Is Born
@janismurphy50496 жыл бұрын
I agree with all you've said here. I hadn't even heard of Bradley Cooper before seeing this film. Since then, I've watched most of his films and have to say he has been brilliant in all of them. He's just a lovely person - what you see is what you get, and that's what I love about him. I also think he's very easy on the eye - and coming from a lady of more 'mature' years - it's not something I get to say very often these days!
@jmmacb036 жыл бұрын
Actually, he purposely didn't want Jackson to be "washed up". He said that he was still filling stadiums. He wanted to delve into mental illness (suicide at 13) as well as addiction and not have it be so shallow that Jackson was just jealous.
