Great review as always. I ordered these right after you posted them on Instagram. Bagus told me that the Rocato shell would be a bit less shiny and were thicker than the Shinki, so I went with that in black. I opted for green Dr. Soles as well. The boots are amazing and the pride of my collection. My tongues do shift over though.

Unfortunate that the tongue issue seems to be fairly universal, but they are a beautiful boot design! Glad you like yours

Solid review! 🍻 Dang those are gorgeous. I see what you mean about the vibrant colors of Shinki/Ogawa. I may have to try that…Glad to see some good Indo boot content on this cursed Tube….And btw, the two hats are very nice. They have a whole new life on film vs still photos.

Those look beautiful! Even though they're no longer in your collection, I am glad you were able to experience such good quality from Indonesian boots. I've been meaning to pick up a pair from sagara. Do you know if they can make these without the "leather patch"?

The leather patch grows on you and are an important part of the boot. Lineman had them there to absorb wear when they climbed telephone poles.

What size r u in iron ranger and brannock?

I don't wear iron rangers, but on brannock I'm a 10.5. In rw moc toes I'm a 10 in terms of length, but need something wider than their standard D width
