Thanks for sharing. We’ve had bread makers in the past and considering this one. I saw in a review on John Lewis someone mentioned that it moves a lot and someone also that the lid is too loose. Was that something you experienced

Our Sage Custom Loadf breadmaker 'failed;'within 4 years 7 months and could not be repaired in the UK. To be fair to Sage, they offered us a replacement machine with a 50% discount and a 2-year warranty! Awaiting delivery of our replacement unit this coming week. Superb machine with excellent results!

Hello Tom. About how often did you use the machine during the 4 years 7 months?

I have this bread machine I have found that the Allisons active dry yeast works better than the instant yeast I dont mix the yeast with water beforehand despite it says on the tin to mix before use I do not

Can we make a cake mix in this one like sweet Brioche or Cornbread..? I had the Breville before, I now have the newer sage. Bread is Good, I use Spelt Flour.. pizza dough Rolls..nice quality, felt it was quite lightweight, larger pan, also lightweight.

Are you able to show what a slice is like near the hole or do you know anywhere else that this can be seen?

Great video, thank you for it! I wonder, have you ever tried making bread in it without yeast? I am allergic to yeast.

Sorry to hear that you're allergic to yeast. We make a no-yeast focaccia bread. Here's the link to that video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJPZkJ2lhJeEqac

Hey, can you also make baguette or rolls in it ?
@saucepankids6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment, yes you can easily make rolls, you just need to pause the cycle before the start of the 'rise 3' phase. Divide the dough into even pieces and roll into ball shapes. Create a single layer of rolls back in the pan. Before adding the second layer, it's nice to brush the top of the bottom layer with some beaten egg. Then continue to layer until all rolls are used. Return the pan to the chamber and press the start/pause to resume the cycle. Hope this helps...

How much does it cost to make each loaf assuming it lasts 3 years?
@saucepankids4 жыл бұрын
Good question, I'm not sure to be honest. It's definitely cheaper than buying shop-bought bread, and it tastes so much better too.
@youtubewts3 жыл бұрын
@@saucepankids It wouldn't be too hard to calculate this if you added up the cost of the ingredients and divided it by how much you use in each loaf. You could then also do a bit of information on how much bread you make on average to work out the cost over 3 years for extra insight as that would be of interest too.

Excellent video. I’d have appreciated being given the dimensions when you mentioned the worktop space. Other than that 👍
@saucepankids4 жыл бұрын
Great feedback thanks for that. Do you still need the dimensions?
@youtubewts3 жыл бұрын
@@saucepankids Probably worth just adding the dimensions anyway rather than asking and potentially not getting a response. Useful for other people then.

Why does my loaf of bread come out with a funky crust by bun can’t mean the shape it looks like waves in an ocean
@kingcoben4 жыл бұрын
one issue rather large taken into the size of the bread 6/10
@saucepankids4 жыл бұрын
It's not a small piece of equipment, I agree but we don't mind sacrificing the worktop space as we use it so often.
