Three questions: 1. Other than price, what is the difference between the BBM800BSS (Pro) and the older BBM800XL?. 2. Does the Pro model make loud thumping noises during kneading. Lots of complaints about that with the XL. 3. Does the kneading blade reverse directions like a Zojirushi, or only knead in one direction?

Sage? It's a Breville.

Thought quality would be same as my Sage smart oven, alas not. Thin cheap metals, sent straight back in favour of tried and superior Panasonic. I'm shocked Heston Blumenthal would endorse this breadmaker.
