I could listen to this guy all day. He presents his material as clearly as he can speak, which is impressively fast.

Looks like a great course, I'm glad you come to Florida! Just a friendly tip also. You should consider some form of respiratory protection during the drill. A small amount of glass dust particles can get in your lungs and reek havoc. Multiplied by how many times you do the class through the years. That's from 20yrs as a South Florida firefighter cutting on cars. Can't wait to meet you in a class!

Great content with a very good instructor. I've heard nothing but good things about Aaron. I hope I can make it out to a class in the near future.

Not sure I heard you right, but in a vehicle course I shot this month, with 9mm ball ammo shot from inside the car though the front windshield went higher than my point of aim with my red dot site on the first shot, then second shot went right where I was aiming cause I shot though the first hole. Thought I heard you say it was the opposite.

Aaron always stresses bystander safety the drills are for close compression vehicular engagement with defensive rounds life is precious this class teaches people how to preserve life when it is threatened.

This probably isn't a really requested topic but have you ever thought of doing a video on "one handed" techniques only? I ask this simply because I only have my right hand to work with. My entire left arm is paralyzed due to a motorcycle accident from about 4 years ago.

Sorry to bust your balls. Engineer so bear with me... Bullets fired through angled glass would deflect towards the path of least resistance. e.g. they drift up when fired through a windscreen from the inside of a vehicle. This is because to conserve their momentum, the projectile must travel through the thinnest amount of glass. If the bullets were to deflect down into the angle of the glass, they would be traveling through measurably more resistant material and would thus violate Newtons first law of momentum. It is science. Cold, consistent, and reproducible.
@Cmoth0405 жыл бұрын
I think they get locked into the deflection caused when shooting through the front of the windshield. Most initial training is shooting from an assaulter position. I've been an LEO weapon instructor for 17 years. All of the initial training I was exposed to was from the outside of the vehicle shooting into it. Deflection only really occurs through the laminated windshield, not through the tempered safety glass. The deflection is reversed depending on whether or not you're firing from the inside of the vehicle windshield or from the outside of the car into it. Outside in, deflection is down. Inside out, deflection is upward.

why do this classes never stress bystander safety......this is going to turn out badly for many civilians at a crowded redlight or junction........law enforcement always stress bystander safety....public safety....
@SageDynamics8 жыл бұрын
Rolling thunder there are numerous drills and scenarios Throughout the class that do just that. Keep in mind this is a 20 min video from a 16 hour course. Not everything makes it in and the video isn't intended to teach anything.
