People misunderstand the internal adjustment of the grinder blade. Breville released a video explaining it. The adjustments are to take the blade in closer as over time it wears down. The first suggested adjustment is after one year of use to maintain the consistency of the grind over time. You can also get a replacement part for the burr blade. Breville sold the rights to the name to another company so in the UK it is called Sage, not Breville. Some reviewers who copy other reviewers (and these reviewers got it wrong) will claim the Breville really has 600 settings when combined with the internal adjustment of the burr blade but it doesn't, the adjustment is to take care of wear and tear. So kudos to you for not making that same claim.

Have you used water spray before grind to see the difference? Also do you know if it will last you long enough? The materials inside are good quality? I have one coffee grinder from Lelit and after 2,5 years it stopped working. I do not want to repair it.

No, I’ve never sprayed the beans before. It’s lasted nearly 2 years and there are no signs of it stopping anytime soon but you never know…
