"Draft dice and use the tools-of-the-trade in Sagrada to carefully construct your stained glass window masterpiece.
In more detail, each player builds a stained glass window by building up a grid of dice on their player board. Each board has some restrictions on which color or shade (value) of die can be placed there. Dice of the same shade or color may never be placed next to each other. Dice are drafted in player order, with the start player rotating each round, snaking back around after the last player drafts two dice. Scoring is variable per game based on achieving various patterns and varieties of placement...as well as bonus points for dark shades of a particular hidden goal color.
Special tools can be used to help you break the rules by spending skill tokens; once a tool is used, it then requires more skill tokens for the next player to use them.
The highest scoring window artisan wins!"

Definitely a fun game, however, if you have issues with color blindness the dice could be a problem. For me I couldn’t differentiate between the blue and purple dice. I was able to find the same size translucent dice at a local game store and replaced one set with a different shade so I could tell the difference.

Downside: the blue dice and green ones look alike as do the same colours on the individual boards; no I am not colourblind! The five are a bit puny but to be expected with small board spacing. Hey, still love the game and it does get harder with the later windows.

Thanks for the feedback and watching. For me, I don’t have trouble with the colours but I could see it being an issue! Game designers are doing a better job these days of handling colours but it’s still not perfect. Cheers!

This is a fun game when played with other people. I wouldn't recommend this game for strictly solo play. Once I won solo I haven't played it again. It's just way to fast solo. 10 to 15 minutes easily. But if your going to play both solo and multiplayer then it's a great pick up. This is just my opinion of course. Plus I didn't get a dive tray in my copy. Oh well not the end of the world. Plus I've had the game for awhile now and the dice tray wasn't listed in the component list or back of the box on my copy. So maybe it's a new addition. Anyway great unboxing.

The problem we always had was not always paying attention to where we placed the dice and at the end, when you total up the scores, you realize you shouldn't have placed dice where you did. Ours didn't come with a dice tray either. Was this a kickstarter version?
