We stayed at the same campground after the rally. Pretty nice spot. Went for an awesome hike and next day went to the Museum. A must see.

Welcome to Arizona! You're practically in our backyard. Cooking outside gives me food envy! I only wish the "Carefree" awning on our EKKO worked. It hasn't extended correctly (or at all) a single time since we picked up our Winne late last August. (Yes, before you mention it, we watched your video about how to adjust it.) Safe travels!

Thank you for taking time to leave a comment and watch her video. I know after I’ve made my adjustment I had a couple of other things happen. I’m still working through in hopes to bring some more tips and additional information. I did discover that there is another adjustment point. It’s behind the end, cap closest to the rear of the vehicle. I’m hoping to do a video soon and that should allow others to potentially result some additional problems.

During the day we explored the East Saguaro park. We spent the night at Gilbert Ray campground, located at the doorstep of the West Saguaro park. Would have love to explore more of that area… next time for sure! ✌️

@@ekkonesters599 those 2 halves of that park are so different from each other, but at the same time similar in the context of the Saguaros. Definitely want to explore that area more. Also went to a place called Las Cienegas National Conservation area. Definitely worth boondocking there.

it's a nice place but now it's taken over by the party crowd. I stayed here 3 nights last week (Sept 10-13, 2024) and it was HELL. Campers in B-3 were making so much noise, and were yelling and screaming between 5 and 6am. Constantly played w their car alarm. The last 2 nights there they began playing their sterero loud enough for me to hear it, even though our campsites were about 150 yards apart. They eventually brought a dog in - or did they have friends over? Not sure. Anyways every time the coyotes would start howling, the dog would start barking and it wouldn't shut up. IT SUCKED! I think part of the problem is that there is no longer a camp host. They used to have a campground host here, who was good, and would be patrolling the campground on a regular basis. Another person showed up the first night and blasted THEIR stereo from 9pm-12am, and then left, without paying for their site. If you want peace and quiet, this is probably no longer the place to do. Have a Plan B and a Plan C. I haven't been to Picacho Peak State Park's campground lately, but that could be an option. Not much wilderness out there between Marana and Tucson, and what there is, is in the midst of heavy smuggler's territory and are no longer safe. No staff on site at all except between Jan - Mar. That needs to change. BTW, right now H Loop is closed. So is C Loop.

Yes, it’s too bad that a lot of the things are not managed the way that they could be used to be. He can definitely distract from What you go out and look to accomplish.
