A high-wage application seems less competitive since most applicants below a 4star match on Job Bank don't need to be invited for interview. Please clarify about the median wage and the stream that it would be applicable for.

Hi Sahil, you should also talk about the costs of LMIA which are being charged by the companies and immigration agents which is quite legal and ranges from anywhere between 10k to 25k CAD. Since it is the reality a little bit of light on this would help. Thank you

Hi, Thank you for the great video! Question: If employer is applying for a LMIA for a current employee to support its PR application, does employee still needs to do advertisement ? When LMIA has been issued for the current employee that aleady had an Open Work Permit, does he/she need to apply for a closed work permit or employee is good to proceed with the LMI and apply it to his/her profile. Recently, I have been in touch with a consultant based in Adelaide, Australia, who claims to be an authorized recruiter for several approved LIMA jobs. However, this individual is demanding CAD 38,000 for processing fees from individuals who are interested in these jobs. Several individuals have already paid this consultant CAD 38,000 to obtain work permits with LIMA-approved employers. This raises concerns about the integrity of the program and the potential for exploitation of vulnerable individuals seeking employment opportunities in Canada. It is disappointing to see that while the Canadian government is working to bring employees to Canada through the LIMA program, there are individuals using it as a means of making money dishonestly. Paying CAD 38,000 for entry-level jobs in Canada is not a reasonable expectation for anyone seeking a better future.
