The title of the video also simply tells us the name of the COMPANY and after that name, its just a description of the machine which is presented. So there's neither a wrong title in the video, nor any hint, that this machine is supposed to "splice" anything (even though "to splice" can simply mean to connect, merge join something and doesn't necessarily refer to the nautical term ).
