It’s was approximately 10 years ago around same time when I was bed ridden due to an leg injury. One of our family friend’s (Appa Kulkarni) son-in-law was the priest at this temple. He had come to our house causally giving us the Prasad from this place. He saw my condition and consoled me as I was deeply depressed due to my condition. Appa saheb told me not to worry and visit this temple as soon as possible. It is equivalent to going to Shirdi and I don’t need to go to Shirdi myself anymore. Being a devotee of baba since a young age we used to visit Shirdi several times a year, literally whenever we felt like going we used to go. So, when I recovered a bit from my injury I along with my family planned to go to Shirdi one day. We faced lots of problems in our travel. Near about Sayali Vihar our car hit a big pothole and was out of control. We were saved by Baba. We somehow reached Shirdi but there was too much crowd that day. We were unable to get Darshan that day.This went on for a couple of more times. I with my family faced lots of problem to reach Shirdi and we were not able to get proper Darshan of baba, either at Wada or Dwarkamai. One evening my mother told us to visit the temple at Bhivpuri road as suggested by Appa saheb.Maybe, it is what actually baba wanted. We visited the temple right before Dhoop Arti that evening and were able to get a very soothing Darshan of baba. We had Prasad had went back home happily. The drive from Mumbai to Bhivpuri road is very scenic especially in monsoon season and that’s when we went there for the first time. But again, we tried to go to Shirdi again and we failed to get Baba’s darshan. Till this day, I have not been able to get baba’s darshan at Shirdi. My parents were lucky enough to get darshan last year. I too whenever possible now go to Bhivpuri road as it is my Shirdi. The temple and its premise has changed over time. New temple is constructed now and the premise has also been cleaned. There still is that well Vinny ji told about near the temple. All big festivals are grandly celebrated at this place. All the four poojas of the day are carried out there. Anyone near Mumbai/ Pune can visit this place in a day it surely will give lot of peace to a devotee of baba. Om Sai Ram
