I am not a Saie-Stan, however I do use the bronzer every day and love it. I also have found that mixing the Glowy Super Gel and the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation creates the perfect skin tint for me. It makes the foundation lighter and less clingy to dry patches. If you’re having trouble getting the Nars to work, try mixing!

As for foundation, I had this happen with the very popular Born to glow by NYX. It does look gorgeous but it won't settle no matter what I do! Touching my face and boom, swipe. It got recommended by another beauty content creator which had led me to my favorite affordable, long wear foundation. But the Nyx is a wet mess even on my very dry skin. The Saie bronzer you've mentioned here does sound amazing for my super fair skin where every cream bronzer does look too bronzed and orange. Thank you! ❤

Your point about second, third, even fourth chances is well taken and frustratingly correct. Not makeup obviously but if anyone knows the detergent company The Laundress, they’ll be familiar. They are owned by Unilever, who also partially funds Saie. All The Laundress products were recalled due to a bacteria that created severe skin issues for people. However with deep pockets come more chances and The Laundress is slowly being reintroduced. It’s also to your point about products going viral. $ is the reason most (not all) products go viral. And Unilever certainly has it. I know how naive this sounds but I wish products would get popular bc they’re awesome not bc they’re affiliated with a huge multinational. Anyway, it’s part of the reason I like your content as we talk about those kinds of issues here ❤

I like the Saie bronzer, I have light bronze and fair bronze. I like the reddish tone of the light bronze and it transitions from summer to winter for me. The fair bronze is very subtle too light snd cool for me I think. I wish they would remove the fragrance although it’s mild and doesn’t linger. I want to try the blush. I really like the Saie slip tint tinted spf and I would continue using it if it did not contain hyaluronic acid. Interesting take on the brands and how their funding impacts the products.

you missed my saie holy grail (the one product i use from them) as someone who enjoys a nuanced shimmer goo i highly recommend you try out the starglow glowy super gel highlighter, i use it on my models at nyfw and it gives the skin such a gorgeous, dewy luminosity without any detectable glitter. i use it as an all over finish adjuster either beneath or mixed in with foundation !

I had to return the Saie foundation and concealer as I was allergic to both. I'm a teeny bit more pink than you and when I swatched the lightest Saie bronzer I was very excited. But once it was distributed on my face, it pulled just a bit yellow. It was almost like you couldn't see the yellow in it until it was spread out more (as opposed to a swatch), so that went back, too. I do have the Slip Tint for days I don't feel like I need an actual foundation. For some reason I really want to like Saie and Merit, but there are very few products that work for me. :(

The concealer really isn't a CONCEALER, it's an under eye brightener. Think: the becca one, the YSL touche éclat. That's why they call them sheer concealers I guess, because they conceal not via coverage, but via brightening!

Their brand does have the unfortunate quality of being very wet. But at least for me, their cream bronzer in fair is essentially my perfect shade. The closest I've ever found to being inherently natural to my particular strange pasty vampire with rosacea complexion. Despite that wet quality, I will never be without that bronzer. If they discontinue it I will undoubtedly lose my mind.
