Never take anyone’s advice seriously when it comes to personal relationships. They are not the ones who are gonna be having the make-up moments (iykyk) or your tussle with each other. Respectfully, listen to everyone and nod your head and admire that that they care but never let it permeate your personal equation with each other. So, if you start taking everyone’s advice your own decision making and deciphering capabilities will be impacted and you’d start to see things through other people’s lens/perspective which will ruin your personal equation.
