The game starts at Lisboa (Lisbon), Portugal, and goes to India... through Mediterranean.

alpha486 are you sure? Portugal (also Spanish and others) merchants were going around Africa, not through Mediterranean and the game is called "sail" to India, not sail a bit and walk to India :)
