Congrats on safely crossing 4,000nm's of open ocean & getting 1mm views of your videos to boot! What an amazing trip from Norway to the Marquesas! Great job outfitting her for the journey, maintaining her in transit (she could use a good hull scrub now though!) and keeping your head together on a mind numbing trip of endless horizon, varying winds & seas and seemingly endless sail changes. I can't imagine that SV Beaver will much more than say 5 knots today (as you arrive at the Southern tip of the Marquesas) regardless of wind, sea state or desire based on the upside down garden growing below! Welcome back to land, you must feel like a million bux (or views?)!!! Good on Ya!

Wow thank you so much for your lovely comment David! It means a lot to us! It sure has been a great trip, and we are pretty stoked to have made it this far! Thanks again for watching mate and your kind words! Take care

Your straight forward honesty and humility as you continue is refreshing and I hope you never become the know it all sailors like so many other cruisers have become. Thanks for sharing this part of your dream with us so we to can experience it also. Have you figured out the reason for the starter battery being dead. Magic Carpet did their last video with a Naval architect he was very interesting as he broke down all the benefits of each of the type of batteries what they can and can not do. I thought of you guy’s while I was watching it. Please don’t change this is the good stuff of life.

Thanks so much for this comment it’s a pleasure to read. We’re still learning everything ourselves so no risk of heading the way you describe. Thank you so much! I really liked it and I think everyone can benefit from the ability to stay more present and take control of the mind. He had a lot of good points that I definitely gained some personal value from. I had to re-read a lot of the chapters to be honest to fully comprehend the intent, and I still go back and read sections over again. I would recommend it to anyone, specially to read it on an ocean crossing where you have so much time to reflect and put things in perspective being away from the hustle of the every day life on land. Take care mate
