Are you serious? The design is unusual just for the sake of it. The owner cares more about making impressions than inteligent use of space. Hi Cindy, Take nkte of the number of guest cabins and see the U tube of the small design crew delivering her to the Solent from Ipswich and their visit to the supermarket for provisions. This yacht is designed with stowage to feed the owner and his guests for long trips at sea, as well as water roys to play with when anchored off in warm water. She may well sail like a day sailer but she has accomodation and stowage for a long term cruiser and, making 12 knots steadily ar 30 degrees off the wind, ocean passages will be fast. Peter.

Sure, space is usually a premium and every inch is always packed...but he knew he only wanted a max of 6...and at 111 ft, that just means that everyone has a ton of comfort and room while offering pretty darn good performance. That's one of those things that's really just about what you can afford. If you can afford lots of extra space and performance...then I say "go for it!"

Never heard you waxing so lyrically over a yacht ! 👍 I appreciate the workmanship and imagination that has gone in to building this most unique yacht. The lengths the carpenters have gone to match the grains of all that jointing. The hidden doors, concealed lighting and the fact it nigh on zero emission is a game stopper. But, do I like it? Yes and no. Taste, as we all know is very personal. I agree with one of the comments below saying that it‘s too sterile on the inside. I would agree, whole heartedly. The interior is a work of art, without question, but would I want to live in it for extended periods of time? Definitely not! Had I the money to have such a Spirit yacht built, the only thing I‘d change on deck is have davits fitted carrying a beautiful wooden tender to match the rest of the yacht. The interior would be classic. Mahogany with high gloss clear coat. All brass fittings with red or blue cushions/upholstery. I do hope the owner uses it regularly. Would be a shame if this were to sit in the marina most of the year. In it‘s current configuration, it is indeed only a day sailor. Long trips with that interior, at least as it is at the moment, would be challenging to say the least.
