Another fine episode. We had a bit of fun, a bit of sailing and a bit of adventure hiking up to the overlook. It's good to have a little mascot and we noticed something new, the spirit of Atlas at the 23:45 mark.

Night sailing definitely takes on a new dimension. I think the time 13:54 you’re referring to, between waning daylight into darkness, is generally filled with anticipation until the transition is complete. And then .. pure magic! I used to love night sailing with Jim and our family growing up. Lovely family time tucked in my memory bank. Which is what you are doing. ⛵️🐬

I'd stay in Nelson Bay because Nelson is a long way inland. Top video! That marina would rank among the most expensive in Australia. But it is very impressive! Marble bathrooms with your own TV and lounge.

Ooooweee!... The glass jars in the bow look dangerous... I can imagine them clanking together while bucking into the wind. It doesn't help that the jars still have their labels attached which tend to attract bugs or get damp, fall off, and clog the bilge. Perhaps a quick fix would be a couple layers of towels intertwined with the jars to at least mitigate the risk of a mess from breakage, both by insulating the jars, and by absorbing a broken jar's contents- should disaster strike.

Hey SBs, so great to see you in my home port with your funny ways of saying names. TomARee is Tom-a-reee. Etc. All good. I reckon the mascot should be Ruby. Enjoy the sailing. Bunnings hats, very Aussie. A company that failed in the UK, they blamed the cold weather?! Toot toot.

What a beautiful relaxing sailing video with music to match. You both seem to have really enjoyed your sail to Nelson. It must be in the name as Nelson in NZ is also a stunning location. You should sell your video to the Aussie Government as a reason to emigrate! Well done lads one of your best !

Cooking Tip - Add the sauce to the sausage (protein) and simmer together that way the flavour of the meat reduces the sharpness of the sauce.

@dogmom60106 сағат бұрын
Boys it's not the boat or it's size it's the layout. Suggest you try hanging a curtain between galley area n your midship sleeping area. This will give person sleeping privacy and man on watch access to the galley. This curtain could be canvas with snaps or zipper to close it up. 12 volt or usb fans for more comfort. Try that till you move on. Rick

Australian, here. No, male kangaroo's don't have a baby kanga in a pouch, they have nuts in a sack. Even in this day and age.

Ais shouldn't be allowed to wake the man sleeping. Is their headphone jack or blue tooth where guy on watch has ear piece. 2 hr doesn't sound like a good start to begin watch time on and off. If the guy has been awake all day let him have 3 or 4 hrs off then next guy samething. 2hrs I doubt the first guy even gets to sleep.

I tried one, once, from a competitor. Once. It was bloody awful. I now have a strict rule that I won't eat sweet and sour unless I can see slightly overweight Asian man with a greying crewcut and a cigarette hanging out his mouth and sweating profusely while making the stuff.
