Wow, I am very surprised I haven’t heard of you guys?! You’re video & pictures/presentation of everything was on point. I wish more Sailing You-tubers would give a little more back story of where they are & the roots of how the country/state became what it is today. Everything from your pictures to your presentation was spot on. Wonderful job guys, couldn’t say it enough.

That "gear mesh" you held up is a drill bit for drilling through hard materials like rock. If it was on the island then I'm thinking it was for drilling water wells. Excellent job on your DIY projects! Suddenly your old Cheoy Lee is looking very new! I love to see successful renovations making the old look new. Does that work on people?

Having never been to the west coast, I hear that the water there is always cold. True? Also (and unfortunately) the first I had ever heard of Santa Cruz Island was when it made the headlines recently. Be safe you two!
@sailingavocet5 жыл бұрын
The water in southern California is warmer than northern, making it comfortable to swim in without a wetsuit in the summer. Tragic event that happened, we knew a few of those who passed.

Great video. Your cooking looks excellent, love the presentation. Bummer about the oar, you should be able to get that replaced, definitely defective. Yeah looked at your logo on your home page, looks good, tells a story and being designed by family makes it even more meaningful. Doesn't really show up in your video, maybe if it was white.

We bought it at the consignment shop, luckily they replaced them with solid wood oars that have worked like a charm.
