First I love you guy's! I don't comment much. I will say this... In life for our families an our kids we make sacrifices. Some are easy to make. Some are so very painful but in the end worth it an healthy... Your daughter has grown so fast... An we only get one Mom... So as I've lost my Mum, I say to you sweet girl your doing for your daughter what your doing for your Mum... Your giving them time to feel the changes life gives an being their strength.. Your husband is your strength an you his .. it's time for the ladies do enjoy each moment as it comes .. an let the men go off to adventure an work because sailing for him is working. I'm on a motorboat (no, I don't want to be on a motorboat, but I won't be getting my next real boat (sailboat) until Jan of 24... anyway, I'm at the marina at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, in Hampton, would love to just shake hands and say hello when you sail over here!

Changes like that are hard, but it will be good for Sienna to experience a "normal" life for a little while. The bigger thing, from my perspective (and something you kind of glossed over), is that you and Simon are going to be separated for long periods of time after living in a small space for nine years.

Hey Jeff - yeah, it's certainly going to be different. Simon is planning on flying home often and I will fly out to him. And we'll have the full summers all together on the boat so that will be nice. We're going to give this a go for a year and then make a decision. In order for us to keep the boat we need to keep the boat going. There's no sense putting her on the hard as she'll just depreciate. And the thought of selling her is just too much to take. In a year things will surely be different. I have no clue but it will be interesting to see how things progress. Thank you for commenting. I hope for the best with your ventures. I did notice a few details that were a little alarming. but no need to make those public. I will say though while just about every one is pulling they're kids out of public schools in North Carolina, your putting yours in the system. Just be wary of indoctrination practices in the NC school system. Other than that good luck to you and yours!
