We are past owners of "Sea Horse'. She was called Alabama when we purchased her in Annapolis, December 1989. We changed her name to Mirabar which is a compilation of our threes sons names (Mike,Ray,Barry). Lake Ontario was her home as we learned to sail her, readying her for the long Atlantic circumnavigation beginning in May 1993. My husband with the help of our son Ray & one other crew member sailed her first to The Azores then on to England (our original homeland). He then went on to The Canary Islands. I met him there and with the help of our older son, Barry, plus one other crew member, we sailed her to Antigua arriving in Nelsons Dockyard on Christmas Day 1994. The two of us then sailed her through the Caribbean Islands to Jekyll Island, GA, up the intracoastal waterway to Annapolis and, sadly sold her in Annapolis. We now live in Brunswick GA and moved here after seeing her listed as being for sale on Jekyll. Sadly she had just been moved to NC and we have searched for her ever since. She is a magnificent well proven sailing vessel and it is heartwarming to see that she now has new owners who appreciate her beauty. We are in our eighties and still miss our "Mirabar" very much. The new name of SeaHorse is very apt. If you ever come this way to Brunswick GA we would love to meet you and maybe see our lovely lady one more time. Shirley & Tom Warburton sawarbee@yahoo.com

This is so amazing! SHE has such a rich history, so many wonderful families that loved her or changed their lives entirely from knowing her. Knowing this, I can't claim her as mine. She is ours. You are always welcome. In fact, I would love to meet you and share an experience together on your Mirabar, My Seahorse.
