I am a fan of sailplanes and sailboats (sailplanes since the 80's), I like non powered rc entertainment. I appreciate your sailboat vids so much! I've had sailplanes with electric power pods to take them up to max and just fly till I can't stay awake. It's nice to be at a local pond with no noise, sailing, and doing a cruise by right in front of you in total silence. And chasing ducks!

I’m not a sailor, but seeing you playing with the boat make me wondering why not becoming a rc sailor... Great job James I will put on my Christmas wish list...

Thanks for the info! I have to learn my terminology more. But getting better and better. That graphic really helped me better understand how to catch those grooves

Nice looking vessel. I've never thought about rc sailing but that looks challenging and relaxing. Great job.

It really is! Wish I brought a lounge chair and a cooler. Would be even better with more sailors for a race

A flag on top of the mast can help you see what the wind is doing. A little piece of yarn or something.

Where can we find stores that sell a complete RC65 class boat and its parts?

The physics of sailing is very fastenating... The beam reach is actually the fastest point of sail. The sails work similar to airplane wings, the air moving over the front side of the sail creates lift and your boat is actually being pulled.
