They're so close aren't they Jonathan! I had no idea either!!!! If you ever wanted to experience it by land or sea, it really is pretty easy to get around. Yes, the food has been really good so far. We rely on Google Maps to sus out restaurants and their reviews before we dine too :)

G'day and thanks for the great video Kristina. I've always wanted to go to the French Riviera. I was surprised by the affordability of the coffee and snacks!!! Great travel hacks as well. Been to the Italian Riviera, but not the French one .... "Take me away to Marseilles"!!!

Great video of a beautiful town! One alternative beach in Cannes is the Palm Beach, located on the other side of the peninsula on the end of the Croisette, towards the Lerin Islands. on the opposite side from the Croisette, the beach is a little smaller, but its much more open. No expensive beach clubs.

Awesome guys! Such an amazing region! Fell in love with it years ago. Hope to sail here one day. St. Tropez, Sainte Maxime, Gassin, Port Grimaud, it’s gorgeous! If you guys have a day or two extra to spend: you absolutely must visit Île de Porquerolles! Its on your way towards Marseilles. It’s a small national park and you can hike or rent a bicycle to explore the island. Anchor in one of the Northern bays around the old town. Really tranquil as most tourists leave at the end of the day. Enjoy!! 🎉

We hired Cascade and sailed the greek Islands last year and just spent 10 days in Port de Soller. We managed to swim to Sa Colabra from the boat.

I spent my youth in Juan les pins then Nice in the 60s and 70s have you seen the Pinède Gould in Juan-les-pins? , my school was right next door to the Saint-Philippe Church and La Pinède is a Mecca of Jazz where the greatest musicians have been coming to play for decades

Hello Kristina. I'm new to sailing/boating. Does that mean you never pay for petrol but you always need to wait for wind to go from A to B and sometimes may even need to change plans? What made you guys decide for sailing over a motor boat? cheers

Hi there Alan! Sailboats also have a motor, so we can choose to use the engine whenever we want. But, yes, if you want the trip to be cheaper, you have to make sure your plans suit the wind conditions :) Sailing is something that always fascinated John, and I guess I love adventure, so we dived into the idea of buying a boat and going for it!! The rest is history. Go back and check out some of our earlier episodes if you like, the moment we buy our first boat and learn how to sail! It's been a pretty interesting journey! :)
