You must not have seen much in Paros because it is a beautiful island. I spend every summer there and am very surprised to hear that you didn’t like it. I have been sailing the Greek isles for 30 years so I have a good perspective. If you go back to Greece, give Paros another try but tour around the whole island and I’m sure you’ll change your mind. Beautiful video!
@JamesandLaurent6 жыл бұрын
That is absolutely true. We picked up our boat in Paros and never returned there. We didn't get a chance to see Nouasa, which was highly recommended to us. Maybe next time :)

Greece looks so amazing! It’s on our “short-list” of destinations. I love that you guys visited the islands by sailboat! I’ve sailed a lot and think it’s a great way to experience places. All the cliffs and rock formations look awesome! Thanks for sharing! 👍

How amazing to be sailing the Greek Islands. You got some beautiful footage. Seeing those dolphins around Sifnos must have been a really special moment for you guys. I also love the way you narrated your trip 👍
@JamesandLaurent6 жыл бұрын
Yes, the dolphins swimming along the boat were one of the highlights of our trip. We're both bad actors and not that comfortable in front of the camera. The narration is the way we have found to make our videos more lively. We've been told the chemistry between the two of us in the narration is what makes our videos :)

Bonjour, not sure I think it came up in one of my feeds or actually it might have been from another video I was watching that you might have commented on. I'm always looking at the comments on videos I love to find creators that enjoy them as well and see what they do. But to be frank I'm just on youtube so much it does get confusing. Anyways love the video so thanks :)

Looks like you had a great trip, unusual name for a church, I would've found it difficult on the rough boat ride as I get motion sickness, looks like a fab swim, interesting rock formations, sop many cats!! Great video very nicely done. New subscriber 👍🔔.

We found it difficult too :). Luckily, the sea was only rough on that very first day. It was smooth sailing after that... literally :)

Looks so beautiful! So which should I do first...Croatia or Greek Islands??? They are both on my list :) c/t
@JamesandLaurent6 жыл бұрын
We don't want to upset our Greek followers, but if you have to do one, we recommend Croatia over Greece. The landscapes are greener and more beautiful in Croatia. The cities of Split and Korcula are more beautiful (and we didn't even do Dubrovnik, still on our list). The food is better. And as far as sailing goes, the marinas had a lot more amenities. That being said, the Greek islands were spectacular too. It's just that Croatia was even better.
@marcelfr906 жыл бұрын
James and Laurent's World Travels Oh, boi, you did upset me. Haha. The thing is that the Cyclades are way more unique than the Croatian islands. I mean, Greece has also greener islands like the Sporades or the Ionian islands and Corfu town (where I hail from) has nothing to be jealous of of Dubrovnik. Facts are facts.
@JamesandLaurent6 жыл бұрын
We were hoping you wouldn't see this comment :) We'll do the Ionians islands some day.

WUSS, ahahahahaha ... Pauvre Laurent... I agree on Paros. Not my cup of tea either. Btw, it's Sykià (stressed on a) and it means fig tree. Kléftiko means the place of thieves.
@JamesandLaurent6 жыл бұрын
Your Greek keyboard has a lot more options than ours :) Place of thieves would explain the pirate cove. Not clue about fig tree as we didn't see much vegetation in that cave :)
@marcelfr906 жыл бұрын
James and Laurent's World Travels According to a quick google search, there is (was;) a fig tree near the opening of the cave on top. Go figure...
