Get ready to voyage from the remote south coast fjords of Newfoundland to the steamy jungle of Panama and adventures in between! I chat with author, sailor, podcaster, artist, surfer, and adventurer Paul Trammell as he shares inspiring stories of chasing his dreams and how he came to find peace living aboard Windflower, his beautiful 1972 Cartwright 40.
You might know Paul from his popular podcasts, Offshore Sailing and Cruising, and Dream Chasers and Eccentrics, or you may also know Paul as the author of several books of both non-fiction and fiction, some titles including, ‘Becoming a Sailor: A Singlehand Sailing Adventure,’ ‘Alcoholics Not Anonymous: A Modern Way to Quit Drinking,’ and his most recent novel, a thriller titled ‘Until They Bury Me.’
Before Paul started chasing dreams aboard Windflower, he shares insight from his life as a high school teacher, a musician, a carpenter and how that path culminated in a profound realization that he wanted to quit both drinking and drugs. With sobriety and sailing, Paul has discovered a fulfilling life through chasing his dreams to find adventure - and Paul urges us to chase our own dreams and that finding adventure doesn’t have to be going someplace far away!

Also, I don't have a huge budget dedicated to equipment and/or other resources for recording video and audio -- but, I put lots of love and time into creating these videos in the hopes that sharing what I learn might help you!
PLEASE NOTE: I live in a very rural area with poor Internet connectivity; as such, I have to travel an hour (each way!) to reach a reliable Internet connection in order to conduct these interviews. That said, the place I go for Internet access is a public location, and as a result, this episode does contain occasional background noise. My apologies for this.
