We're *so sorry* it took such a long time to finally have another video out! We've been sailing all across Turkey and Greece, and it has been intense! I can't say it's an easy life, but it is filled with loads of amazing experiences we will never forget. And, we met some awesome people at the same time. Plus: the first season was a bit of a trial one, but we decided we're going back for more. We're on a mini winter break in Holland now, but will be back on the boat in a few weeks. 2024 will probably be even more exciting! We hope you'll follow along with us! Beautiful all around Çok Güzel matey's! This is rather ironic to me because my partner and I worked for 10 years building a 45 foot cutter with the sail-around-the-world plan like so many when younger. We had visited the Mediterranean and envied the people gunkholing around the coasts. We eventually did go sailing but couldn't get much further than the north Pacific before we realized it wasn't the life for us. Dashed were my dreams of laying on a remote beach until I took up paragliding in my late 50's, then in my early 60's ended up in Ölüdeniz on an SIV course where the last day, unexpectedly we were directed to fly to Butterfly Valley! Suddenly I found myself enjoying a remote beach on the Med! Life is funny isn't it? Love watching your adventures when I can. I am from Canada but we have recently bought a place in Türkiye so I can fly a lot more there. Happy sailing to you all!!

Thanks for sharing this, such interesting life events! Butterfly Valley definitely has a bit of our hearts, what a special place! I also had hoped to touch down there one they with the paraglider but the logistics of it didn't work out for us. I did love the flying at Oludeniz but that was before this sailing trip. It sounds like you're going to have many more amazing experiences in Turkey! There's so much to see and full of friendly people, we could spend a lot more time there!!

At the 18.45min mark you anchor and tie stern lines to shore - do you intentionally block off the beach with your lines to stop anyone else from using the bay/beach ? Laying your lines like that is dangerous (and not particularly friendly for your fellow yachtsmen)
