Typical Whitsundays weather! Trade winds during the winter make for interesting sailing. The Passage can get bumpy especially with the wind against the tide. I have never seen Nara Inlet empty like that. Glad you put that one up. Cheers.

Mmm solway passage, we can't thru it the other way a couple of weeks ago 30kts and 3 to 4 mtr swell made for a very interesting passage.

That would be a bit wild, especially with windward tide. Often it gets so rough that the big tour boats go the long way around & through Hook Passage.
